Who are you? What do you do?

I am a self-entitled ‘Academy Award Winner’ (because I made my own Oscar out of tin foil and spray paint). I make paintings, felt-tip drawings and short animation films about hedonism, cleanliness and contemporary Los Angeles architecture.

Where are you from?

I was born by the seaside in Lithuania but grew up in Kent, England.

Your style in 3 words?

Wannabe rich bitch.

Your weakness? Your strength?

My strength is my weakness, I have a lot of ideas but I can never figure out which ones to start and fund first, hence my hundreds of unfinished screenplays, novellas and music projects.

What makes you different?

I make really good Espresso Martinis.

When did you decide to become an artist?

I never really decided, I sort of fell into it, I was always that kid in school who could ‘draw’ and I think it was due to that validation of being able to ‘draw’ that I decided to make it my career.

What do you find most fascinating about the creative process?

To cringe and quote my ultimate guilty pleasure obsession ‘The Weeknd’,

“I’m just too distracted with the life I’m tryna paint”

I find my creative process as a way to add a certain material aesthetic to my life that doesn’t always exist.

A few words about your favourite creation?

My favourite creation is my painting ‘Soapy Soap’, I’ve never made a work I’ve genuinely liked completely before this one.

Someone else’s work that inspired or inspires you…

Danny Fox’s book ‘A Cut Above The Eye’ filled with his works from 2011 – 2018 which included interviews with Henry Taylor and Rose Wylie has been a massive influence on me this year to produce more; it’s incredible how much amazing work Fox has created in only seven years, it gave me a kick up the arse.

A new project coming up or an idea you want to work on?

I’m going to be painting bigger and trying to complete at least one of my many unfinished projects, one of which is a music album where every song is a sample of a Kanye West song, so every song is a sample within a sample within a sample and then me talking rubbish on top about Lamborghini’s.

Finish the sentence „More important than my career is…“

my Oscar.

2019: Where are we going?

I and my super talented fashionista photographer friend Molly Rodriguez are planning a month-long trip to West America dressed as 60s society girls.

When the going gets tough…

Pretend you’re having the time of your life and no one is the wiser.

Your city’s favourite spots?

I only recently moved back to England from Glasgow, but if you’re in Glasgow go to a place called Stravaigin and get a bottle of the white Côtes du Rhône or Lambrusco if you’re feeling trashy for a not-so-trashy price.

Do you have a vision?

Dream big, I have a vision of being in a Tarantino film.

What would you do if you could change the World?

I always said if I ever became a billionaire I’d save every poor donkey in the world.

Tell us about your future plans…

I’m going to grow my hair like Veronica Lake.

Last but not least: what is your favourite Song?

‘Bennie and The Jets’ – Elton John
