Who are you? What do you do?
My name is Eva. I am a berlin based female artist working with different media.
Photography is a reflection medium for me and often the origin of my concepts, installations, texts and objects. In my mixed media group of works photography is given mostly the task of contextualization.
Where are you from?

Your weakness? Your strength?
Thinking too much and not thinking at all. And vice versa.
What makes you different?
I am normal.
When did you decide to become an artist?
Late. So the decision wont kill me.
What do you find most fascinating about the creative process?
The flow. In the end every process has its own dynamics.
A connecting way of thinking and working is important for me. Also combining different media or exploring their border areas and the specific features of certain materials.
A few words about your favourite creation?
Peanuts! Is my favourite work these days. Peanuts! is humorous, light but also subversive and has a bitter cynic note. It is small but it can turn into something big. It is my statement against over intellectualized and over priced art.
Someone else’s work that inspired or inspires you…
So so so many. But from time to time I find myself coming back to Roman Signer.
Who would you like to work with someday and why?
I would like to build up longlasting infrastructures with good people around me. That is one of the reasons why I am organizing a meeting from time to time called “KST–KünstlerinnenStammtisch” .
A new project coming up or an idea you want to work on?
I want to make some experiments exploring gravitiy.

Hm. I keep on looking on to small things.
Tell us about your future plans…
I am nominated for the artprice at Haus am Kleistpark Berlin so I am preparing right now my work „Peanuts!“ for the opening of the groupshow „subversiv“ at the end of august. And I am doing researches for new works for the exhibition „Hydra“ in october as I am part of the „Goldrausch“ – project for upcoming female artists in Berlin 2019.
Last but not least: what is your favourite Song?
I am still obsessed with the audioloop of cyprien gaillards „where nature runs riot“.
